While the poster above is written in reference to kids, it applies to everyone.
Family members ... friends ... colleagues.
This impact of this behaviour tends to stick with people.
It is certainly one of the elements that has driven so many of the stories on here.
I get situations can make others angry.
I get we can all do stupid things.
But when the approach to correction is shame, they're trying to improve the outcome of one thing through the destruction of another.
Us.
They might not mean it.
They might not want it.
But they are doing it ... and by recognising this, it might - in some small way - protect you from taking their words and damaging yourself even more with them.
