This week we received an email from someone who dares not leave their toxic job because the only option is a sideways move and they fear they’ll look like they’ve failed to others on LinkedIn.
We told them two things.
The first is what a friend once said of this platform, which was “there’s more fiction here than a library.” The second is below.
It’s worth remembering that if someone is systematically undermining your confidence, it’s abuse. Moving sideways isn’t standing still, it’s rising up.
